Forty One

Forty One was a large-scale installation made in collaboration with Josh Stuyvesant and commissioned for Albuquerque’s All-Kinds festival.  The piece consists of forty reclaimed school desks piled together on top of a single desk. 15 feet in front of the pile was another desk with a pad of paper and pencil. Viewers were invited to sit at the desk and given homework :  to write out their interpretation of the piece.
