This November I am finally sharing a series of sculpture I have made from discarded EPS foam. Inspired by the work of Gordon Matta-Clark and by abandoned buildings that dot the New Mexican landscape this is a series I have been working on for over 5 years.
I’ll be showing them at 1415 Gallery in the heart of Barelas, Albuquerque. This gallery has been a stable of the ABQ scene since its founding as Donkey Gallery by Larry Bob Phillips over 14 years ago. Hope to see you there, November 5, 1415 4th st, from 6-9pm!
